Communicate without losing your sparkle
Your essence, your appeal, your personality. Your je ne sais quoi. Whatever you want to call it. I mean that little something that makes you YOU.

On the market, a sheer number of businesses offer products and services that are similar or the same as yours.
Then, the question is, why you?
Your background, your training, your experience. Your social or environmental concerns, your passions. The combination of what makes you you and your dedication cannot be copied. And this is the place to talk about it.
Talk about yourself and your brand, and show us your sparkle.
I’ll help you tell your story.

I have as many library cards as cities I have lived in – I think that makes it 6.
Although I no longer use them, keeping them as I have moved from city to city has become a habit.
I save them as a keepsake, but also because I know that if I return, I can always take out a book to calm my reading addiction.
I’ve been told that this is quite a ‘translator thing’ to do – the reading part and also the globetrotter trait.
I’m not sure if this is a common feature in the profession, but what I do know for sure is that, in my case, reading a lot ignited my desire to travel.

It all started when I was 14. I initially travelled with scholarships to learn English in the UK and Malta, and then travelled for work – or to use up all my savings, which, I confess, may have been a little reckless of me.
But so was starting Lingua trabada amidst the pandemic, and here we are.
I say this because I knew what translating involved since I studied translation and interpreting. I also worked in different companies where I put my linguistic skills to use. But running a business was a whole other thing, and reaching those who needed and could pay for my services was a true unknown.
However, this is what led me to train in copywriting.
When I’m adamant about doing something, I start searching and learning whatever it takes to achieve it. Wanting something doesn’t mean it can always be accomplished, but I always like to try. I’d hate to feel like a wallflower and think what could have happened if I had just done it.
Why don’t you give it a shot?
